More than half a decade ago, I bought my first couch. At the time I lived in an apartment in Calgary's beltline, and said apartment was about the size of a postage stamp. Naturally, this meant my couch came from (where else?) IKEA. It was on sale at the time; I think I spent maybe $125 on it. It was this one, the "KLIPPAN" sofa, with a denim slipcover:  Now, like eight years or so later, I STILL have that couch. The place I live in now is three or four times bigger than the apartment. That tiny couch seats two, and I have a rocker chair inherited from my parents that seats one. Only being able to provide seating for two other people at a time has often been the pits. On top of that, the couch has seen better days, as the stuffing on one side has collapsed in more than a little bit. I think I got my money's worth, ya? But now!!!!!!! :D On Tuesday I bought my first REAL sofa and it was delivered today by two very nice guys. It was half price! It's microfibre! It's sage! It seats three! And it reclines at both ends!!! I'm very excited. :3
